It's like how later #GirlTalk was more layered/nuanced, sometimes this Monti guy does more straightforward mixes, but sometimes he gets really clever with the arrangements and when the source material is good it just kinda blows your mind.

They were gracious. They thanked me for letting them know, and for the drinks. There were maybe 50 people in the show that night & not a single punk among them.
They made me want to see the movie.
And I'm glad they did, it's incredible fun 👍

The software crashed one night (AMC Burbank 6) and we lost all air conditioning. I made the rounds into each room to apologize and offer coupons or comps, and got the obligatory hazing from every audience.
Comes with the territory.
But not from the Moulin crowd. They were... nice?

I don't disagree with Hogg's wanting to cut dead weight.
But he absolutely hasn't done anything to EARN that much clout besides getting shot at. He is not made singularly special by his circumstance, his anger, or his mouth.

I was off the next day but heard what happened & went in to crash the mgr meeting. Told 'em we all did it, mgrs said it was ok, I had done it myself the week before, if they were going to fire him they should fire me too.
They fired him. Not me.
And WOW would life be different had they... 🤔😬😅

For the first few weeks of advance midnights, whichever show ended last we'd clip the trailer pack & drop it back in later. Got us back 10 entirely symbolic minutes.
Until one show had some studio guy in the audience, then the closer that night was suspended. I was booth supervisor, he was my guy.
