Why? No one in any position in the administration to care or do something does or will…

It's just a bully move. I might, or I might not... to keep you on your toes and respect me.
What we all need to really do is completely IGNORE this asshole when he opens his face. Only act on what he does. File suits and injunctions on his actions. Ignore his words; fight the actions.

Well hey; the Boston tea party started something that ended up in the successful formation of the United States of America. Maybe this stuff will be the second coming of democracy here. One can only hope. (And no, I’m not advocating vandalizing personal property)

I’m really happy these Republicans are so concerned. What will they do about it? So far, they’re simply lining up to sign their name on the dotted line endorsing it.

Oops, you said the quiet part out loud. Too bad those who need to hear it are not listening. Keep saying it!

I've been asking this myself. Muck and Trump are running roughshod over ever facet of the gov. Who is standing in their way? Filing injunctions, lawsuits, motions, getting on every media calling for public outrage? Unless the banks of lawyers are busy prepping briefs, D is alseep at the wheel.

He’s shooting democracy in the head right in the middle of Pennsylvania Avenue and he still hasn’t lost any voters. Sigh…

We know that Trump does not have the authority for this. We know that the buyout terms are illegal. And even if real, Trump would never pay out. (Never has, never will) This is political theater on his part or his being pupeteered by Project2025 slime mold. ATC and fed employees should just laugh

Correct. But they restore the rights such as voting and owning guns, as well as any other punitive penalties.
comment in response to

Not quite. The pardon does not expunge guilt. They are still felons, but they have had their rights restores such as buying guns and voting as well as release from incarceration or other penalties. They will always be convicted criminals.

Oh, you mean last month, when 44 Republicans voted against HR 10545, the American Relief Act, which would have provided funds for wildfire prevention measures???

It's the classic mistake all over. Cut the arts in favor of the "more profitable" fields of study; what's the point if the arts are gone??? What are we working FOR???? Sigh...

I once had a manager who had (what I initially thought was strange) ritual every payday - he would make it a point to thank ME for dedicating my energy, talent and skill to our project, because I can choose to go anywhere, and I choose to work on our project. Gave me a whole new presepctive...

Remember that Muskaswamy have NO power whatsoever. They can only give their opinions, which as we know are like anal orifices. Everyone has one. The last time a POTUS tried this (I think it was Nixon) nothing came of it either.
comment in response to

Thankfully, Muskaswamy have NO power whatsoever. Unelected, all they can do is advise - give their opinions. Any older people are the biggest voting bloc. Cut their checks and there go the "lawmakers'" jobs. Don't sit back and be complacent, but it's far from a done deal.

Sorry to say, but facts don't matter to Magidiots. They see a number, and it must be true! And if they see a number that is in some report, even if misused, they they did their research and it REALLY must be true. Same people who believe if you say "chicken" fast enough it sounds like "orange"

I agree with what you have been posting... But how do we "take him down"? The only way we can is put the fear of <deity> into Congresspeople that they're out of jobs if they go along with TFG more than he can hurt them.. And get groups to file suits for his blatant unconstitutional machinations...

I’m one of them. I am not in the privileged group that I can safely sit back and not care, but I also can’t be effective at anything if my mental health is compromised by watching this stuff. My “excuse“ is that I really can’t do anything about it individually; so I need to protect my mental health.

This is unfortunately why the Left usually loses. Because we worry about what others will think or use if we do or say something. Completely missing the point that doing that is like bring a crayon to a knife fight. We gotta muscle up and fight like out lives depend on it. Because they do...
