This is the government order that was needed in order to allow Trump, a convicted felon, to enter Canada for the G7 summit.

This doesn't need to wait for perfection. It could start with Atco trailers in the parking lot. There are some available in Northern BC right now.

This is a very good move. Hospitals often have room to expand.
BC Government should also consider adding drug treatment and recovery pathways, co-located. E.g. Victoria General Hospital, where there is plenty of space. @josieosborne.bsky.social

Correction! The photo in my original post of the Trump Parade Fail was from a different event. These are from the correct event. Note the stands.

Here's the crash locations and numbers, and you can specify which years and whether property damage only or casualty (injury or death).

Interesting. I hadn't thought through that part of it, but I would hope that could be administered through ICBC.

That said, it's the only one for the entire city

Subtitle is incorrect. Only 20% said they might not renew. Almost twice as many said they would. And those unsure are less than the national average.

Hopefully the provincial government takes the input on that survey and gives us another 50 cameras.

C'mon, we already have automated enforcement. Here's the camera. It covers 279km of streets in Victoria.

I made the case in the Council meeting that IMO affordable housing should be paid for using progressive taxation, e.g. income taxes. There is also a case for progressive property taxes.

It's emotionally hard for some people to accept that the arguments of others were preferred over their arguments, especially if they are used to winning.
Emotionally much easier to instead claim that they weren't listened to.

I'm grateful to Council for supporting my amendment asking the province to consider funding sources that don't increase the cost of new housing. City affordable housing contributions should be paid by everyone, not just by new renters and new owners.

Please, do take it off our hands.
And while you're at it, please take municipalities out of the charade of police budget "decisions." Leave those with police boards, and appeal to the Director of Policing.
