After how long will the time between excommunications become smaller than the Planck time and what are the physical implications of such an event?

Maybe the real fool is the archbishops we made along the way…

I don’t really want to trade them. I’m very fond of them.

Can we trade youth clubs? This week I found the group that disappeared creating a Big Art Attack on the toilets’ floor with beads, wool and bananas (mushed).

It’s closer to 3/4 through than half way through.
Just in case that helps.
(I imagine it doesn’t)

In fact, we did a project budget recently and just one million is 7 full years of our absolute dream all bells and whistles project costs.
Oh well, back to seeking out grants and donors.

The beginning of Luke 21 comes to mind…
I’m used to being in the poor parishes in the poor diocese. Hundreds of millions is just a fairy tale amount to me - how can Jesus’ followers celebrate keeping that to themselves?

Thanks for taking the joke well!

It’s another very British problem to post something on the internet talking about the UK and for Americans to say you’re wrong because America and the UK are different places.
(Said for humour - it’s an easy mistake to make @937deanscott.bsky.social)

Are you able to share the snippet as a post here or link to it somewhere that isn’t X? I’d be interested to see it but have deleted my account there.

“Oops - I accidentally posted it on substack as well as submitting it to the journal. Butterfingers”
(I’m assuming there’s a very good reason this doesn’t happen but I’m entirely ignorant - what would happen?)

We had a friend who was very into all this stuff.
For a while we did 1-2-1 Bible studies together. I was not adequately prepared.

On the one hand, easily done to get the number of Ns and Ks mixed up. On the other hand - easy and important to check one would assume…
On the generous third (genuinely ignorant) hand - since it’s a transliterated word is there any chance it’s an unused but somehow valid spelling?

Thanks for this Sam. I feel quite powerless about it all - the most significant thing I can do is strike but the wrong people would be hurt and the right people would ignore it.
How can those of us not on synod support those of you who are re all this safeguarding failure?

At least there is a T in argent
But surely they should put the argen after the previous square. That feels slightly more sensible.

What is modelsargents meant to be?
I’m perilously close to losing all perspective about this and making it my entire personality to be against this kind of shenanigan.

Wait does this actually happen? This feels like a joke because that can’t actually be a thing right?

I wonder what’s scarier - the call saying the Times is coming to talk about your sermon or the one saying The Archdeacon is coming.
