I am a Canadian artist and writer. I am the past recipient of the Ted Plantos Memorial Award for Poetry, 2021. LEPER MOSH is my second book of poetry. If you like Stephen Crane, Carl Sandburg, E. J. Pratt, and films like River's Edge you'll like it.

Interesting thought. It makes me wonder why Alaska hasn't been annexed by Canada. Canada could take Alaska.

Thanks! My cousin used to make his own indie syrup. When I was a kid I'd go help him tap the tries.

Not enough think that to matter. Not enough for you to look as bad as Russia invading the Ukraine. That's how it would go. Fook around and find oot. If Kevin O' Leary is his "many" then he's a Thunder Dolt.

It would be a lot like Russia invading the Ukraine. Look at how well that's gone. I appreciate you putting your feelings out there.

Absolutely. Geese are actually wicked vicious when provoked.

Is he serious? Has he seen Red Dawn? Most Canadians growing up saw the Americans as Canadians and saw the Russians as Americans. Knowing Wayne Gretzky and Kevin O' Leary does not make him an expert on Canada. He has seriously bad intel.

Yep. As much as I would like to hang with some American friends, when I have the time and money to travel I'm keeping it in country. I've always wanted to go to Newfoundland and see L'Anse aux Meadows. I believe that will be in my 2025.

If America acts like Russia to us, we'll act like the Ukraine to it. How divorced from reality some peoples' leaders are.

Talk about Canada without talking to Canadians? Thunder Dolt!

When I was a kid and we were renting Red Dawn, we read into it -- we saw the American characters as Canadian and we saw the Russian characters as Americans.

It's that American ideal of Manifest Destiny running roughshod on reality.

Yep. Always. It's that hybrid blessing-curse of creativity.

Or Batman. So many millionaires and so many billionaires and not one Batman.

I can relate! The thing is -- there is indeed always something else isn't there?

I was part of a collective that did just that, back in the '90s. I have been thinking about doing it again, but all on my own DIY like.

Back in the 1980s it was revealed/ found out/ leaked that the KGB had a tentative destabilization schedule for all democratic nations. The USA was targeted for the 2000's. Putin was a member of the KGB at that time. Putin is in power in Russia now.

It is a fantastic work. I bought many issues back in the day, but the day I got the collected volume was a good one. It took me back in time and yet forward too. Brilliant art and story.

I remember watching a video of him doing a reading, and he had this bit about "college beards" which was hysterical.
