I mean, just off the top of my head there’s… um…
Hmmm…

Oh yeah. NHS dentists: rare as hens’ teeth; decent plumbers: gold dust. Multi-instrumentalist, peripatetic purveyors of individually tailored songwriting: chuck a capo and you’ll likely hit half a dozen.

Dammit!
If only my extensive in depth research had gone as far as actually opening the Wikipedia article…
Apparently he was briefly in Nynuk, who changed their name to NKOTB only after young Mr Wahlberg had departed.
I am contrite, sir.

I think those paperbacks in particular were seminal for a whole generation of UK cartoonists.

My main memories of Peanuts from my (UK) childhood come from late ‘70s stumbling upon copies of the cheap paperback collections we had here (published by Methuen?), then colour Sunday strips being reprinted in the Observer colour supplement (maybe early to mid-‘80s?)

I figure if you can produce impressively realised complex narratives in comic form WHILE ON A BUS TO WORK, as you have done in the past, then sorting out a decent series of Who (presumably while not on a bus) would be a piece of piss by comparison.

Nigel, I have for some time quite sincerely thought that in a just world you would get to show run Doctor Who. I would love to see that.

Absolutely. As yet I’ve never met him, though I have received an email meant for him once or twice. Maybe I’ll bump into him in Norwich someday.

Oh, me too for the most part. I just tired of the lengthy exposition/recap/explanation bits sometimes.

Was about to ask who the artist was (I’d back myself to identify most Dredd artists in the first few hundred issues of 2000AD) but then spotted your Alt Text. So ta for that.

Half a point.
(Only saw that sketch for the first time very recently as it happens).

Now that I've realised that the bloke who looks a bit like Sean Connery is, in fact, Sean Connery, I'm trying to think of another instance of a Doctor and a Bond being in the same movie. Can't be the only time, surely?

I find the lack of a suitable sound effect for “sword piercing skull” a curious oversight. At best misjudged, at worst cowardly.

“Keith Griggs” sounds like he ought to be a plumber from Wolverhampton.

Yes, likewise. Was surprised by how far into the podcast I got before it got a mention.

c): fair enough.
b): bit odd but whatever.
a): what kind of insane multi-tasking are you attempting?
Always give your doughnut your full attention. Anything less is disrespectful.

Also, what happened to your right hand? Did you lose it in a tragic industrial rendering accident?

Not a flashy watch. A dodgy AI attempt at rendering a watch that has no number marked on it except a 7 and unevenly spaced hour markers.
“Hey, what’s the time, creepy-looking AI serial killer boyfriend?”
“17:89.”
