Just wanted to say thanks for the books I've loved some like a few and spent hours reading them.

Ha I read it and live in fl. All the oak trees are dumping so much pollen that no one in my family can breathe.

What if it was the sun?

I'm with most of the people that already answered. Old and bad eyes and fingers. I download them and they are safe on my offline storage device. I can make the print bigger and moving is easier. That said between my wife and myself we still have at least ten book cases and many boxes in the garage.

Lmao.... My poor cat puked up every few days for her life. Vet said it was normal.

Thank you for making me feel like an old man. Then doing the math and feeling really old.

Or maybe government health care for real? Not Obama care but a real government HC for all. We would save enough by getting rid of the insurance companies to pay for it.

Cheerleader for a would be assassin. How can you justify murder? We must make changes via civil discourse, we must realize that just cause someone disagrees doesn't mean they need to die. If you propose murder to advance your position you lose your footing

Flowers for Algernon. Read it as a kid and it helped fuel a life long, so far, love of books.

Wow I'm so pissed at this. I've had 4 doctors two gp's and two specialists retired in the past few years cause they spend more time on forms than on patients. LET DOCTORS BE DOCTORS. Total hot button for me, still would have liked to see him forced to testify and jail than killed.

I'm leaning more towards the thread of someone that has lost someone due to his company screwing with their HC. Not saying it's right but if James goes after these fckers like she went after Trump she will be doing something great.

How is Israel doing a holocaust? They were attacked their people kidnapped, raped, forced into slavery or marriage and killed. They have a right to defend themselves.

So let me see if I'm following this . Some guys that you disagree with are having a rally and your, not fantasy but plan, is to should them with a hopped up paint ball gun with frozen ammunition. Please forgive me but I've never used a gun and don't think shooting those you disagree with is right.

Okay apologies from an old guy but what are chuds? The only thing I remember with that name is from a really bad horror movie in the 80s. Okay I'll admit I watched it and it wasn't that bad. Fine I like bad horror movies. But I don't think he is talking about cannibal human underground dwellers

The problem with that is now he, Hunter, must testify. Can't claim the fifth as he is free but can be held in contempt if he doesn't answer. This could lead to a new attack on Biden and his family. Not sure if the new supreme Court ruling on presidential immunity will cover it or not.

The only problem I have with that is that the Trump presidency pushed for the vaccine. They developed the vaccine during his presidency and it was announced just a few days after his loss to Biden. On the speed it was developed, it was incredible.

No one will. There will be no elections, Martial law will be declared as there would be a lack of workers for all jobs. The economy will collapse. H5N1 will make COVID look like a summer cold, it would be like the 1914 Spanish flu.
comment in response to post
I'm very upset with you. But you don't know my story so here goes. My son 8 now contracted COVID before any vaccine was created. He now has swelling in the brain and his doctors say NOT to get him vaccinated. Not everyone that is unvaccinated is magma or uneducated.

But you are. Your beliefs are that organized religions are cults. The suggestion of not being an ass assumes that someone can be an ass. In order for that to be true you must have a definite belief of what an ass is
comment in response to post
1 what cult? 2 how am I an ass? See you are starting from the point that your beliefs are better than mine. And you are throwing in personal attacks. Gotta say that hurts. Wish you could keep it from the personal attacks.

My religion says that a child in the womb is alive made in God's image. So what actions should I take to make sure that the child is saved? Kill someone? Burn down the building? What if it said that killing infidels got me to heaven? You need to decide where your moral absolutes come from.

Why because it applies to you? Your intolerant views lead you to offer violence at a lethal level. That is not tolerance of any kind. This is the polar opposite. This is why a Republican can't vote for a Democrat and vice versa, if our leadership can't work together we are doomed.

My first computer class I was 16 at a community college. They had vic s with cassette drives. I was showing 30 year olds how to program. God it sucks getting old.

Just a question do you use an SSD to an older style hard drive for storage? I read someone say that the SSD can go bad if it's not powered on enough of the time. I'm not a technician just wondering and wanting to save a lot of old pictures.

At the same time I love listening to my audible books because a good narrator can make a story come to life. I checked out audible books on tape from my library years ago and they hooked me. The narrator can make a huge difference.

What most people here are forgetting is that audiobooks serve a purpose. So do physical books. Some people like myself with limited vision find reading a physical book very difficult. But after 50 years of reading it's hard to give it up. My eBook reader can make the fonts much bigger and helpful
comment in response to post
Well don't forget you can also use audible and change the speed of the narration. Imagine listening to a 16-hour book in just 8 hours. Unfortunately the reader seems to sound like he's on way too much coffee

The problem I have is we were told in the beginning that masking wouldn't do any good. Then we were told it would do good. Then we were told it would only do good if you had the right kind which wasn't available. We were told six feet was appropriate. Now they just don't know.
comment in response to post
Can't do it that way. You have to know your enemy to win. Watch the other channels and listen and learn, the only way through is forward. Read that somewhere but can't remember where

Thanks for trying to keep us safe. By the way loved old man's war
