The incident in question were not within LAPD jurisdiction, so your point is not relevant. Los Angeles County has 80 cities and this was within LA county sheriff department not LA city Police Department jurisdiction. However, obviously, insane to deploy the National Guard. completely unwarranted

Here they come. Just about the entire Cabinet now issuing statements to raise the temperature and sow disorder & chaos. It’s what they want. The only administration in our lifetimes that seeks to escalate tensions. National Guard now deployed to California.
