Correct. It's not an in vivo study.
But, we know from the recent paper out of China that Nimbus and XFG are seriously powered for immune-evasiveness.
This may be explained by this mechanism. Increased glycosylation of the spike is also really important.

You can always add a biofilter to the circuit as well.

That machine still has an intake filter through high quality filters. HEPA level.
No idea where you're situated or the flight/distance you're traveling.
Issues also include the lack of entrained oxygen. Flying isn't ever sea level FiO2

Positive pressure ventilation has been demonstrated to bel safe for providers. The exhalation droplets travel a minimal distance.
The user is receiving filtered air through HEPA. If the mask seal is good, everything is moving away from them.

Long Cövid is many things. There's no two cases alike. But, immune dysregulation is considerable as is volume reflux and silent aspiration with repeated aspiration and lung injury.
