I consider myself a normal bloke. Sadly a description few others recognise.
Used to be a doctor.
Now retired so basically on holiday the whole time and consequently struggling with weight.

No. The Iranian govt wants to destroy the entire population of Israel not just its govt. That is a crucial difference. If Iran was not run by an extreme religious cult then Israel would live in peace with the country.

I agree priority should be given to U.K. graduates.

How many Drs have we imported who have had their education paid for by much poorer countries than us?

I’m sure it doesn’t want to destroy Iran just the govt that has been in power since the revolution.

Well I for one appreciate any efforts to prevent Iran getting nuclear weapons. And after all it is Israel who Iran has indicated they want to destroy so perfectly reasonable for them to take unilateral action.

But outcomes have been poor compared with other advanced nations Jim even 15 years ago.
Luckily for the NHS worshippers most patients don’t realise that. All they see is the wait times and how they are individually treated when needing care.

This one maybe but still ridiculous and I find it quite rude. Others I’ve had personally messaging me saying you havn’t paid within say 2 days of finishing job and it makes it worse when job took months instead of days as they rarely turned up!

This is a huge problem. Whenever suggestions are made of how to improve the NHS people assume only alternative is the US way which is probably the worst. Why can’t we look at rest of Europe and have a proper conversation about their systems?

To what? A system like most of Europe has? A system that the citizens of France Germany Holland etc seem to think is pretty good and certainly better than they experience here?

I’m just suggesting that AVs will quite easily cope in towns and villages without massive spend on new crossings. Probably safer than having humans driving through such towns and villages.

Wouldn’t it work just the same as it does now? Ie pedestrians largely wait til a gap in traffic and cross. The ones who don’t and cause cars to brake will also cause AVs to brake and likely more effectively and safely.
Let’s welcome this advance not try to pick holes in it.

What about the richest say 1% of those millionaires? I’d be more interested in tax take comparisons pre and post Labour tax changes.

Thank you for respecting retired doctors. Sadly so many doctors on SM despise and disrespect us. Many also sadly are anaesthetists. x.com/theveindoc/s...
