My kid just went to a BABYMETAL concert. My kid just (briefly) met Su Metal, Moa Metal and Momo Metal. She told them "hello, enchanted to meet you, my name is Erin" in Japanese and they answered (in Japanese) "she is the cutest". My kid is the happiest kid on Earth today*. :)

MIStitcheimer weekend summary: - MI Final Reckoning: 1st hour, esp 1st 30 minutes, a MESS. Recaps, retcons, stakes repeated at nauseam... doesn't work. From there, too serious, too mesianic, but when it goes crazy, AMAZING. - L&S is a delight. Fun, some tears. REALLY well done.

Peter David's wife is reporting that he passed away last night. A versatile writer of comics and prose who adapted well to many characters, he had been having severe health issues for a while. I am glad that he was around, and wish the best to those who knew him.
