Hard to beat this combo price:

Part of the advantage to Ryobi is the breadth of tools on the same battery platform:

100% this. I went cheap with Ryobi, only complaint is the circ saw.

Also, there's so much truth in this image:

I'd steer away from B&D personally. Milwaukee is probably the best but comes with a price to match, followed by Makita and DeWalt, then Ridgid and Ryobi IMO.

I'm in the Ryobi ecosystem, they're...fine. nothing exceptional, the worst is the circular saw, really underpowered. But I have the drill, impact driver, recip saw, oscillating tool, hedge trimmer, leaf blower, and several others that all use the same battery tech, which is the real benefit.

Scroll saws are the safest thing in a woodshop. I'd let any Pinewood Derbyist use it if their parents were there.

This is a non-story. All press releases prior to 2023 were removed from the site in May (why? that might be a story). They are on the FDAGov Archive.

We established the concept of an "all-call" when it's time for a parent to use the bathroom on an outing/prep for outing - "I don't care if you don't think you need to go. Each of us will use the bathroom anyway. If something comes out, great."

Tressel would be much better than Ramaswamy on every metric.
I'd love to see Sherrod win but I don't think he can - I don't think there's a current D that could win. Allison Russo is probably the best current officeholder, but she'd still lose.
