I used to be able to go to the grocery store without a list if I only needed a couple of things. I'm stopping for some essentials later today. There are two things on my list and it's in my car so that I'm sure to remember to bring it. The pain is real

I love to paint birds. I do watercolors and was thinking just yestday that I might take another stab at landscapes after admiring so many of yours. I especially like the way you use unexpected color

Only if you recognize them as people who deserve the same rights and level of respect. And the people who are responsible for this do not see them in that way

I wonder if that's because your history of oppressive government is more recent and so you are generally more attuned to it?

It's not clear to me how that determination is being made. It seems chaotic but not entirely random. I'm sure it varies depending on the willingness of the local LE departments to be involved. Some are more eager than others to round up brown-skinned people. The racism is rampant, but not universal

It's impossible to know for certain, but I can imagine that both scenarios are likely. From what I've been able to determine, the Federal authorities have "requested" that local law enforcent assist in implementing the Dictator's directives in rounding up those targeted for deportation.

Not so much in my little world. Most of the people I associate with don't seem to be aware of what's happening or they know I see things differently than they do and so they keep quiet. There are only a few people I speak with about what's happening who agree with me

Me, too. Watching it on the news is bad enough. But this is too close to home

Yes, and he has surrounded himself with people who have their own insidious agendas. They will continue to enforce his will, without regard for the illegality, in order to institute their own desires in the background. It's all much more calculated than it appears

It was a different world then. There are lare factions in this country primed for a civil war. Guns and ammunition have been stockpiled. And we have an administration willing to encourage them. The Jan 6 pardons are evidence of that. And we have a Congress and Courts backing them up

I really think the declaration of martial law is only one option they're considering. It's simply a matter of seeing how things play out with the midterms and then deciding which to pursue. It would be interesting if it weren't so terrifying
