-Libya... the US is using the country they destroyed in 2011, and which remains extremely weak and vulnerable to imperial pressure. Evil doesn't even begin to describe what we are witnessing. All with the complicity of Western leaders and the cowardly silence of the Western press.

Individual attempts at negotiating trade deals - which will always be from a position of weakness - will come with no guarantee, we’ve seen how that worked out for Canada and Mexico with their earlier signed and sealed Trump deal. We all know there’s only way to respond to a facile bully. Courage.

Let’s hope that in the background countries and continental alliances are currently meeting behind closed doors to discuss collaborative strategies, including creating a new free trade zone, to counter US tariffs and bring Trump to the table - on their terms. Time is of the essence.

Is someone not able to synchronise simultaneous gatherings in multiple major cities (Manchester, Leeds, etc). Then you would get a reasonable sense of where UK sympathies lie. Nobody other than tourists want to go to London.
