So, what are the implications of an AI regulation ban for 10 years? I can’t wrap my head around that point of the bill. This is moving so fast that a 10 years period feels more like a we’re-all-dead time frame.

It’s so interesting how AI has already reached the uncanny valley where it’s really hard to distinguish created from generated. Some people are even confident that the Sam Altman x Jony Ive announcement is AI generated, when there’s making of footage. Brains are gonna fry.

A new system for ranking albums. 5 stars: Masterpiece; listen on repeat, no skips. 4 stars: Excellent; nearly every track is good. 3 stars: Good; an equal mix of good and not good. 2 stars: Mediocre; only one or two good tracks. 1 star: Disappointing; I won’t return to it after the first listen.

Macromedia was so ahead of its time, especially on web with Fireworks, Dreamweaver, Flash (not to mention Freehand). Adobe acquired it, let it rot, and now that wysiwyg web tools are cool, they have nothing to offer.
