WW2 merchant mariners had a higher casualty rate than the military yet they were often derided as draft dodgers and cowards WW2 era merchant mariners were only granted veteran's status in 1988 Most of the people reading this have no idea what the merchant marine is or how dependent they are us

No joke, cruise lines like NCL hire actors to wear uniforms and mingle with the passengers.

There never was that “swamp” MAGAts wanted to drain - but they sure created one helluva cesspool! Actually more like an American Gehenna!

Or you could ride The Sounder or Amtrak to Everett. It is a nice ride, really. Some years back, I used to walk from Lynnwood to the Welco Timber mill in Marysville. Then, there was a time when I would walk from Lynnwood to the plasma bank in Crown Hill.

On one of your walks, you should go to Everett, near the Anchor tavern, headed toward the old train station, Is the memorial for the Everett Massacre

I know you keep suggesting this, but I don't know how it would work for the adverage worker. Perhaps a better option would be to call the RW's bluff. Democrats should introduce a bill to eliminate federal income tax.

The question I have is, how would they prevent federal withholding? I suppose California could pass a law making it unlawful to withhold federal income tax. Though, this would likely put a lot of small businesses in a hard spot, as the IRS could pursue them.
