He is part of the 62%. Using this language plays right in the MAGA talking points/lies. Jeffries is awful.

After the presidential immunity decision I can't say I'm surprised by any decision at this point. It's disheartening and troubling watching the dismantling of the democratic republic in real time.

But sure, as he said, Harris would be worse.

This is on-brand for the entire GOP. Start by getting rid of civics classes in public education. Then eliminate federal oversight of education, while also allowing states to integrate education with religion. It's happening in plain sight.

I am a two-time Whitmer voter. She's been good for Michigan. I'm undecided on the rest. Also like Pete. I will say this though - I am a one-time Slotkin voter.

What are the odds the top remote control is for a VHS player?

Blunt talk. We need more of it.

They're not laughing in amusement. They're laughing at us.

I had no choice, but I will not vote for Slotkin again. Also, as a constituent that has sent multiple emails and left voice messages, any response has been nonexistent.

Ah yes, the old "addition through subtraction" mantra.

She's in the negative on mine. I have actually emailed her office a couple times, once about her Yes votes on totally unqualified cabinet picks, and again about her silence on shipping people to El Salvador. Not even a canned response.

They'd only need 51 if they eliminate the filibuster, no?

I can't buy into 2, so I buy into 1. I am thankful for that we don't have Senator Rogers but Senator Slotkin got my vote once, she won't get it again.

The Democratic Party is in need of a massive overhaul. We'll keep Buttigieg, AOC, Crocket, and a few others but the rest need to be primaried.

I also don't understand how we elected both Trump and Slotkin on the same ticket.

We're lost. Not like I was gonna vote for John James or Mike Rogers or some other sycophantic suckup to Trump, but really, I couldn't be more disappointed with Slotkin and Peters.

He'd been such a great voice for us. WTF happened. I guess it was $$$. But I'm able to easily toss him into the trash heap with Fetterman. Later.

Not an easy answer, and no clear way to deal with this. See: Trevor Aaronson being taken totally out of context by Tucker Carlson. theintercept.com/2021/06/22/t...

Why did they crop Sergei Lavrov out of the photo?

It's not so much an "anti-Trump podcast" as it is just an honest telling of facts. That used to be what journalists did.

CNN's ratings are in the tank precisely because of exchanges like this. Why they continue to platform outrageous garbage like this is why most reasonable people have given up them. Only time I watch CNN is via clips on Bluesky. Same Burchett compared going to elementary school to fighting in WWII.

I find it amazing that any Democrat still thinks any Republican is a colleague - they're not. They are all complicit in the overthrowing of our democracy.

I am neither puzzled nor disturbed, and can't figure out how Wicker actually could be.

I stopped watching all network news years ago. MAGA has complained for years about a leftward slant when in fact it is all right of center, as Dems are held to a ridiculous standard when the GOP is held to no standard at all.

You need to consider going wherever Acosta goes. You don't fit in with the new CNN.

I don't see how 95% of what CNN does helps anyone.

It's really difficult to find a silver lining here, but the fact is that so many people have shown us who they truly are made it really easy for me to simply disconnect with people I've known for years.

At this point, "Dems in Disarray" is entirely accurate.

Gavin Newsom mentioned that he thought Trump might actually believe there is some type of "magical" valve because he's been saying it for years.
