When I asked on Thrwads whether Trump and Musk's actions are so unamerican that they constitute treason I had a very strong response saying yes, two people disagreed and two debated the definition of treason. I wonder what you good people on Bluesky think.Note that was from 3200 likes and comments.

It took me more than 4 years to capture a scene I could only dream of. A magnificent Condor soars above the peaks of Argentina's Mount Fitz Roy, as they are spot lit in beautiful morning light. 🪶 #bluesky #photography #landscape #birds #nature #landscapephotography #naturephotography #travel #scape

Word of day is ‘unasinous’ (17th century): united in stupidity. A riff on ‘unanimous’: which comes from the Latin for ‘one mind’. ‘Unasinous’ means ‘one ass’.

No, I am not “wasting the day” I am ”capitalising on my sofa opportunities”

Word of the day is ‘catch-fart’ (17th century: an obsequious individual who will always follow the political wind.

A bot contacted me today and asked how I was. I replied, truthfully, that I'm a bit down because my nephew died yesterday. It responded "Great ☺️ " I realised what was going on and it stopped when I mentioned suing them. It had offered me£500,000.

I’ve said “right” about 10 separate times this morning in a bid to get myself going. It’s the British person version of repeatedly yanking the starter cord on an old lawnmower.

I don’t worry my teen and young adult kids will open the door to a stranger. If the doorbell rings it does not occur to them to think about answering or looking, even if they are the only ones in the house, unless they are expecting DoorDash. A doorbell is something that’s happening to other people.

I’m not going to spend much time shouting about how H5N1 could be “the big one”. Why? Because a) it could… and we can see it coming b) it might reassort with something we have partial immunity to and pass less viciously than anticipated but ->

In the same way that we can se how many connections a person has, we should be able to see how many people have blocked them. I would like to know how many people have blocked me.

Word of the Day is ‘uhtcearu’ [ucht-kay-aru, with the 'ch' as in the Scottish ‘loch']: Old English for ‘the sorrow before dawn', when you lie awake in the darkness and worries crowd your mind.

Not political in any way. My daughter's dog, Cassie. About 39kg of relaxed(very) muscle and terror (I'm sure in her mind). She's actually a very good guard because she makes a lot of noise when anyone comes near the house.

Elon Musk needs to learn the difference between free speech and shouting "Fire" in a crowded theatre. The latter, by the way, is literally illegal in the UK.

Time and time again he shows us who he is.
