Currently the GM670 has a part shot roll of Gold200 in it (my 8th roll this month 🤪), I think I'll bring a (small) selection of colour 🎞️ and B&W 🎞️ and see where the day takes me.......

Digital has spoilt us, with its convenience and immediacy. Yes, digital is not the same (still shot lots of it though!), but there is something much more involving with shooting on film, the whole experience is much more tactile and the surprise element with the results never gets old.

My goto film format, I've all but given up with 35mm, just love medium format and the results 😍

Nice to see some 120 results from this filmstock - like the hidden pentagon in the sky on the first shot! Hopefully you will have shot/processed some m ore before Saturday so we can have a good chat about it 🙂

Lunchtime Day 1 - shot 2 rolls (1x Portra400 and 1x Portra160) so far - at this rate I might shoot most of what I’ve brought 🙂)

So I've hedged my bets, 5 rolls of Gold200, 5 rolls of Portra400, 2 rolls of Portra160 and half a dozen assorted B+W rolls, enough?
If I shoot half of it I'll be amazed (and broke when it comes to developing 🤣)

One of my favourite documentary photography books, Mik's lens really 'sees' into the characters, the images have a real depth (and soul) to them. And at £28 its a steal - to all those who don't have it, get it ordered!

Thanks! I love using the GX680 (just wish it was a bit more portable!!) metering was a challenge on this one though!

Absolutely 250SWB for me - if I had to pick a modern one it would be the 288GTO - brutal with style

I know tripods are tolerated in the Anglican Cathedral, but not if you set one up on a busy walkway!!
There's a lot of praying involved in using a GX680 (mainly to the battery and electronic gods), I'll see how strong I feel on the day 💪 Might have to resort the lightweight GM670 📷

How many of the 'tall' buildings will allow tripods inside?? Hand holding a GX680 isn't really an option as my stabilisation isn't brilliant 🤣

Excellent, and well done for orgainising a May Photo Walk that doesn't clash with the Cambrian Photo Show 🙂 which is on the 31st May and this year is a combined Analogue+Digital show
