If only we had been able to block Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett. They've been so disastrous to the balance and impartiality of the Supreme Court, creating a crisis of legitimacy.

I hear ya. Yet we need to be strong, because the lies we expose and evidence we collect give us ammunition to get our country back. Germans widely supported the Nazis. Enemies were put to death. Justice prevailed and they moved away from that abyss. And the world and history now know the truth.

It matters because we can't make it easy for them. When we make it easy for them then we just put them one step closer to the next horror they want to inflict.

Yep. As a second term president nobody can say that they weren't aware of his policies and intentions.

I'm done listening to excuses from people about why I should respect these beliefs and point of views. I don't have to respect anything from someone who dismisses the rights of others and champions inequality.

Exactly. I don't mind talking to somebody who has a differing opinion or view than I do, if they possess critical thinking skills and are open-minded.

The problem is that I don't think that most of the people who didn't vote for the felon, or who are not nutball extremists, would be willing to fight. Not even if they were being dragged out of their own homes. We've seen it before. π₯

Responsible gun ownership includes, IMO, understanding warning signs and red flag laws. I lost my son to suicide with a firearm last year. If I had been aware of a red flag law, he might still be here.

Conservatives often call themselves constitutionalists, but this is not at all what our forefathers envisioned for their progeny.

I hear you, and I agree. I usually am quite happy to stand My ground and defend my stance. But groups of frothing at the mouth Christians have no interest in learning anything from me, so I find my time is better suited making them angry. π€£π

2/2 I probably have a ton of unrealized biases and I sincerely want to understand them and overcome them. I appreciate those of you who point out these intolerable biases, and welcome truth, even when I find it uncomfortable. I hope to not be part of the problem, and be part of the solution.

My reply is unimportant, but I agree with you. If you're white chances are you are not able to discern the complexities and inequalities of America. I've learned so much about racism and privilege over the past 20 years, and I am aware that this isn't even the tip of the iceberg. I'm aware (1/2)

Absolutely! With the caveat that you are practicing what your god teaches you. Many people do exactly opposite of what their religion teaches.
