...and that if my doctor determined I needed it (duh, that's why it was prescribed), then I should still take it. Yep - let me just come up with that $15k/month to pay for it out of pocket 🙄 Oh and the approval is only for a year so I get to go through this again in a few months.

Not shocked. I take Humira and it was a 3+ month fight to get it approved after 1+ year of failing other cheaper drugs. My ("good") insurance denied multiple times, at one point saying I wasn't sick either to justify the cost, but that the denial didn't mean I didn't need it (1/2)

Furious on your behalf and terrified this could be me next year when my authorization for my Humira is up in April and I have to get it pre-approved. Any tips for those of us who are non-lawyers when fighting with insurance?
