I noticed this a few years ago. I don't think there's anything meaningful in-universe about it, like, he doesn't have his left hand anymore even as a ghost. I think it was just a film choice to show us that Luke isn't burdened by the dark side or by his flaws that caused him to get that hand anymore

It’s some kind of derangement, that’s for sure

They're all pretty different from each other when you think about it. 64 was an on-rail shooter. Adventure was a Zelda-like adventure game. Assualt had on-rail parts but a it was lot more free roaming and had the on-foot stuff, and command was a cool turn based strategy game.

This was very interesting. Thanks for sharing.

I thought that was the most in character thing Hux could do.

I hated that idea so much. It completely misses the point of Hux’s character as a slimy little weasel. Him even being “chancellor” makes no sense because Kylo hates him.

I was literally thinking today that it felt like we skipped summer and went straight to fall.

That's basically what this guy did. He was like "It's not the number 1 issue, let's be more concerned about why people are saying it is" while not even acknowledging the fact that it's a problem that can be prevented.

Duel of the Fates had so many problems. Like, the people who complain that TRoS was made over DotF would, I swear, explode if DotF was made. The Eye of Webbish bog directly contradicts episode 3.

"We have built the torment nexus from the classic book 'don't build the torment nexus'"
Seriously, it reminds me of the guy who named his company or project "Skynet" and seemingly forgot what Skynet did in the movie.

At one point he says "it's accidents, it's cars" and like, no shit, literally everybody drives. We have to. Where exactly are guns ranked and is it proportional to how many gun owners there are? Seriously, the problems with Mastio's arguments are so apparent he should be ashamed.

David Mastio's levels of pedantry is beyond insane. "Oh, you say it's the number one killer of kids, well, that's just because most of them are teens!" As if that's a gotcha.
Also, I think it's just safe to say he's probably lying, either overtly or through misrepresentation.

We still shouldn't have generative AI, but a basic income would at least guarantee that even ethical automation doesn't just sentence a large demographic to death by making them unemployed.

What was great too was that he wasn’t a stereotype… well… he kinda was but he was a character with more universal flaws and interests and problems.
It meant a lot to me growing up and as a young adult.

Not normally. It takes someone really awful to get Jesus upset.

I play standard and it's the same issue. The biggest issue is there are just SO many cards that efficiency beats novelty nearly every time and WOTC doesn't like to ban problematic cards unless they're dominating the meta.

Don't put too much stock in "expert game designers". Most game designers are still fumbling around in the darkness and can be improved, if you know what you're doing. Try things, break them, and refine them. That is game design.

I agree. It’s gotten to the point where I literally can’t watch videos talking about movies or games unless I’ve already seen it and agree with the title or thumbnail because negatively sells and honest reviews don’t seem to matter.
And yeah, it hurts art to not actually be critical about them.

It's weird how many people will happily dunk on movies they've never seen.

The xyston-star destroyers with that little bit of red is so perfect and menacing.
