I’m more inclined to call them assholes, but we can go with eugenicists too.

Please share this. Not many people know about this & are only focusing on cuts to things like cancer research (which is also egregious), but this is important too & will have lasting ramifications for future generations. #NSDUH #SAMHSA #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth #mentalhealthmatters End

They are destroying lives, both directly & indirectly, wrecking havoc doing what they want with no research or information to guide its decisions & leaving a path of destruction in its wake. A short article that references what I’m talking about: thehill.com/policy/healt... 8/

This is an egregious overstep. Not only is the research & data extremely important, but it’s Congressionally mandated so once again this administration is breaking the rules of our country & going against Congressional mandates. 7/

Here’s an example of one of the annual reports: samhsa.gov/data/sites/def… It’s 146 pgs. One of the authors is a dear friend of mine. His entire team was eliminated. Click the report link, read the first paragraph w the acknowledgments- not a single person in the list is left. 6/

I CANNOT fathom the reasoning to cut this, except bc the current administration has no idea what it is, and is ignorant to what the data means, or how important it is. And so here we are with one of nation’s most important research team thrown in the trash. 5/

The dedicated scientists working on it had to work very hard to complete it & understand how to appropriately & ethically manage it bc it’s so comprehensive & complicated. 4/

It is actually a Congressionally mandated annual report & the only report of its kind done in the US. All major universities & researchers use it regularly. The NSDUH is an incredibly comprehensive & difficult data set to work with. 3/

An entire team at the Substance Abuse & Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) was terminated as part of the RIFs. This was the team working on The National Survey on Drug Use & Health. It’s the only national survey focusing specifically on drug use & mental health. 2/

* I should point out I am talking about DJT here and not Lee Greenwood (though he is a giant douche)

And if he was any kind of real Christian, he’d take 100% of the proceeds of this ā€œlimited edition, only 5000 copies Bibleā€ and donate it to a Christian charity. But he won’t. That’s not the plan. Disgusting & self-serving are 2 of his calling cards & this proves it once again

Yup. Clutched them so hard I pulled them right off. Gotta get myself a new set so I can keep on clutching.

In your opinion that’s what X is. It’s where they have the most followers & engagement. And on Dec 11 they said that they’d heard ppl’s concerns & would keep posting there & they don’t. So they lied. Kinda seems like they belong on X bc @mocoboe.bsky.social & MCPS definitely fit in with ā€œhot mess.ā€

Why was this not posted on Twitter/X where all your followers are and where you said you would continue to post? There’s almost zero engagement on posts made here, IG, & FB. This is wrong & dishonest to the statement made on Dec 11, 2024.

I can answer that since they won’t- they did not post on Twitter where all their followers are. They posted on FB & IG. FB got no engagement, IG got 2 likes (and 2 comments asking this same question), and here- nothing but your comment (and now mine). This is BS & they’re liars.

If you were really a winning team, you’d have posted this on Twitter too like you said you would. Instead, you posted this here, on FB, and IG and left out Twitter where most of your followers are. Do better & keep your word! This kind of thing sets a terrible example for the students & community.

You forgot to mention that by joining here, you are leaving Twitter, thus abandoning almost 10k followers. Coming here is fine, but it should be in addition to Twitter, not instead of.

That's just under $2 Million a yr in salaries. Do we really need that many different "Chief" positions on top of all the ones we already have? $2M a yr could fund a lot of things that would actually help students. There's so much overlap in each job description too. Who approves this nonsense?

Depends on the vaccine. But for the most part, I agree.

No way! I love my grey hair! I went grey really early and finally stopped dying it and embraced it about 8.5 years ago. I get compliments from random strangers all the time. I’d support a hair thinning/hair loss pill though. That would help lots of people.

Done. You’re the third person today I’ve seen with this same issue. They need to come up with some kind of verification system to help prevent this.

To give more clarification on what Student Transition Day is, see screenshot. This info was buried in a weekly #MCPS newsletter from Oct 21 and not contained on the survey itself, which had led to a lot of confusion for many people, including myself.
