We all have stories. This past Thursday was another that my husband and 2 police officers witnessed and supported me as the owner of the rental next to our house thought he could intimidate a women. I set him straight and was backed. There are good men who will stand with us. Whole village living. 🩷

πŸ©·πŸ‘ I have never been silenced; it was/is exhausting. Born in 1957 we did not have the rights you have enjoyed. I’m still fighting. The fight starts with the small slights that men think they can abuse women with. Don’t allow the abuse; call those A-holes out when they are wrong and abusive. πŸ‘

😳Admitting to the lie will take courage, safe environment, & the willingness to heal from the anger issues they have.🀞 Unless they hit a rock bottom most people cling to their belief systems until the day they die. It is sad for them & for those of us living with the consequences of their actions.😒

😳 You are trying to shame me for being yelled at about for being white; it’s happened more than once in STL. No need to get to know me, just yell because I’m white. That’s racist and does not build community. We should be working together. I will not be shamed for trying to solve problems.
comment in response to post
Even among the Democrats in STL there is much racism that has not been healed from generations past. It goes both ways. The only explanation I have found is fear in the communities that have caused mistrust. Coming from the outside it’s been hard to live with over the years I’ve been here. 😩

😩Self-inflicted yes. Pro life NO. Even in the blue areas of the state there are too many who are not respecting life in the community. There are way too many guns in use and children being shot. I’m not sure how we stop all the violence in the state; it’s a mess. Lots of suicidal racists for sure. 😒

Raking the shag carpet before friends could come over to watch tv. We only had 3 channels. That tv was a huge piece of furniture too. πŸ‘

😳 Those weren’t snacks in our house. We put large black olives on our fingers. Kids will always find a way to be kids. 🀣

I taught SpEd; we have reading language skills. Mine are a little rusty but the basic premise is that he is full of πŸ’©, needs a nap, and every one of his so called friends is picking on him. Whoever is in charge of him today needs to get him home so he can be cared for properly; old age is showing. πŸ˜‰

I’m happy for you that you like it. I never did. Switching schools every year was never fun as a kid. Forming any friendship other than surface level was not fun either. It did make me more independent so not all was lost. 😁

I’ve move lots until 20 years ago when hubby brought us back to where my parents finally settled. I’ve been in and out of the area since the early 70s when my dad came here with the Coast Guard. Staying in one house for 20 years is a luxury most don’t appreciate when they have it unless you move. πŸ€”

The people who buy crypto are also the same people who lost money on MLM, buy lotto tickets, and have never learned from their mistakes. Their hope and ability to be scammed lives on. πŸ™„

πŸ‘ Humans are competitive. That’s why I taught my own kids to only compete with themselves to be successful. It has worked. They are successful, happy most days, and share with others. Sadly most are taught that life is a zero sum game and they lose at the game because there is always one with more.

Bigger tax burden on most of us has been the Trump plan right along. He was only going to extend it for the rich anyway. Trumps willing to throw everyone including the rich under the bus. Looks like some rich are realizing that now; a little too late in my opinion. Distribution will still stay here.

I lost a few friends in HS to car accident that didn’t need to happen. Maybe more tickets were needed than were written. There seems to be less tickets written now and more car accidents. Lots of stupid on the road these days; personal observation from watching others run red lights. πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

When I was in HS this area had a reputation for cops picking on teenage boys with loud cars. It was almost a right-of-passage to get that ticket. Crime was low as a result. It was an all white neighborhood then too. Cops lived in town too. It is different now. Some things better and some worse.

My allergies can confirm that plants also release pollen in larger amounts when it rains. You just reminded me to take my meds after we had two days of rain and I will be spending the day outside. Thank you! πŸ‘

AOC was highly criticized for flying first class on a trip where she worked the whole weekend. I don’t think anyone stopped to ask if it was an employee who upgraded here; it happens to many as a staff choice by the airline. If I needed a quiet place to work I would not turn it down. πŸ€”

Winchester, MO It’s okay. Great traffic flow for anywhere around the city. Most neighbors are working class with tools and skills. Our town officials just work too hard for the pay we give them. They should chill more. Our police are great most days; unless you give them a reason to be redneck. πŸ‘
comment in response to post
Code enforcement is not police. They are the city equivalent of HOA to make sure you don’t break building law or do anything to make your neighbors mad at you. Having construction materials in your front yard is a no-no and a red flag for them to cash grab if you need a permit. Always a fun time. πŸ˜‰

Good morning. Hope you have a great day. 🀞 It’s delivery day for my summer yard project so it should have me hardly able to move by tonight. πŸ™„ Maybe I’ll even get lucky and have a visit with our local code enforcement again. Always a good time. 🀣🀣🀣 Small town living is grand. πŸ₯³

🀣 Duh. He’s stupid. πŸ‘ They have to get mine from the dark web. He’s going to have a hard time selling data everyone already has and that no one else wants. I also don’t use his products/services; no one should now that they know who he is. Data you can’t use is useless. Problem solved. πŸ™ˆπŸ™‰πŸ™Š
