Have you broken the new one yet?

Maybe he meant nightmare for Mike Waltz? The MN gov spells his name as Walz. I’m not on twit so I hope someone pointed that out to him.

So he says he’s pausing arrests of those that work on farms, in restaurants and hotels.🤔 But he wants to step up arrests in large cities. Does he have any idea that in large cities they work in restaurants and hotels? (And elsewhere) No he doesn’t. Another one of his well thought out plans

So wait, Jill was senior abusing a clone?

Color me jaded but nothing will happen, just like the other times he violated laws.

Came here to say this. The convictions are concurrent so he’ll still spend the same amount time in jail if he does get a federal pardon.

He’s fine with jokes as long as only republicans tell them.

We all thought Trump was waning also a few yrs ago. Musk will, unfortunately, be back also. It’s not his personality to fade away.

What’s bizarre is you bringing state legislative reps into a thread about federal tariffs, which they have no control over, and you keep pushing it. I actually went to the Mn election website which is where I got the numbers for the Hibbing & Virginia precincts (the cities in the article). Let it go

The Iron Range includes parts of Aitkin, Carlton, Cook, Itasca, Koochiching, Lake and Saint Louis counties. Hibbing & Virginia, the cities in this story, are in St. Louis county and as I posted, there were precincts that voted for Harris so not “all” of the iron range is red.

Did you read my whole post? Are you just trying to argue to argue? This is about tariffs and trump. Not who they voted for state legislators.
comment in response to post
Both Hibbing and Virginia are in St Louis county which voted for Harris-Walz. But, Hibbing has 4 precincts that all voted for trump, and Virginia has 5, 3 of which voted for trump. They only have themselves to be mad at cuz they’re getting what they voted for.

Haven’t bought anything from them since Black Friday - not going to start back up now.

You may be onto something there because less people alive means less people with jobs to pay into SS.
comment in response to post
My sarcastic/pessimistic self has often wondered if by getting rid of all the life saving tools we have developed there will be less people to survive into old age to claim SS so they’ll make it solvent and eliminate the need to tax million/Billionaires more.

The Supreme Court gave him immunity from prosecution when it’s related to his presidential duties, so odds are a big fat nothing cuz he’ll just say it’s part of his duties to keep America safe.
comment in response to post
The Supreme Court gave him immunity when dealing with his “governmental duties”, so nothing will happen

And he’s flying around on air force one with his mom and his minion son and staying at the White House - on tax payer money - talk about parasites.
comment in response to post
I’m beginning to think that vulnerable people dying (esp older adults) is a way for them to make SS - less people collecting, less time people collecting.
comment in response to post
As long as he claims he was doing it as part of his presidential duties, he’ll claim presidential immunity….so no one🤬

This maybe a dumb question but I’m not a constitution scholar, but is there anything in the constitution against this?

Grassley? Stood up to Trump? Must not be planning on running again when his term is up at age 95.

Leavitt said she "laid out the plethora of ways that President Trump has addressed saving costs for the American people over the past week. The plethora of ways I’ve heard about will only raise costs🤦🏻‍♀️

You don’t need to insult me. You saying “white people” implies all white people. I’m not all white people. I’ve been working to change people. There were a lot of minorities who voted for him also. He did not get into office on just the white people vote.

I know. But I don’t like being lumped in with those losers.

Isn’t there enough serious things he could be working on instead of crap what’ll never pass?

Remember before the election when people were saying that once trump was in and doing his crazy stuff, they’d 25th amendment him so Vance would become POTUS and he’d be easier to manipulate? Not sure which is worse

Water from Canada? Will there be a tariff on that?
comment in response to post
I thought the Dems focused too much on abortion, it turned a lot of men off. Trumps past history, his sour relations with our allies, telling people what tariffs actually are would have gone a long way. And let’s be real, the US will not vote for a female while there is a man also running.

I bought my Tesla 5 yrs ago, at the time there wasn’t anything else. I won’t be like people who trash their things they already paid for because they don’t like something about the comp. But if I was buying today, yes I would stay away from Tesla. EV market is so much better, hope it stays that way

Thank you for writing about this. I’m sorry you have to go through this, but glad the issue is finally getting attention. I worked at a non profit specialized children’s hospital & we had philanthropy 💰 for people who couldn’t pay. Does the hospital you’re looking at have something like that?

I renewed 9 months early. They questioned me and I told them that I had a lot of travel planned in the months leading up to expiration and other countries need your passport to be good 6 months prior to expiration. This was during the time of lengthy renewals but it may work for you also.

And he’s promising not to drink if he’s confirmed. Any person who’s dealt with an addict of any kind knows that the addict just isn’t going to stop - they stop for a few days or weeks, but then they’re right back at it. Those senators are fools if they believe him.
