A Connery boxset’s a pain in the arse when it comes to ordering, thanks to the placement of OHMSS.

You’ve now got me picturing him in reboots of Supergran and Children of the Stones as well. And fitting perfectly.

It’s car crash stuff, but so entertaining all the same.

Municipal Gothic sent me to bed feeling markedly ill at ease more than once - which is of course high praise. Love it.

Run Like Hell stuck out as sounding very upbeat and cheery in isolation.

I still can’t believe this book exists - it’s absolutely bonkers.

That flashing red light on the spine of the box did get a bit annoying during the night at times though.

It is a fine live album, and you absolutely need the full DSOTM - cutting it down just feels wrong. Never thought about the changed tone of RLH, but you’re right. You should write a book!

Murray Gold - never knowingly underscored. Must have been tumescent when that scene came along.

I think that happened to Rumpole once.

I think the word Lewis was searching for at the end was “gullible”.

Genuinely surprised at the absolute hatred I’m seeing for the finale online.

It’s Ida, what do you expect?

That did add a nice extra touch of poignancy to Jodie’s finale.

I’ve really loved Ncuti - a fresh and vibrant take on the role.

That was absolutely mental. Still processing it.

Missed a trick by not having a large upturned flower pot in the back garden for the photos there.

I lost to my best mate’s 8 year old daughter a few years back, it was a brutal game - she was absolutely fucking ruthless. She’s undoubtedly destined to do well.

Part of me is thinking it would be a bigger surprise if they *didn’t* drop The One Who Is Lost into it, and left him, well, Lost.

The older I get, the more I realise Victor Meldrew is completely sane and rational.

I love that they went with the Revenge design front and centre. Always been my favourite.

I’m torn between whether his greatest role is this or DI Grim.

Now there’s a dream pairing.

Loved it, though unsettling to see the Doctor of all people going down that road. Didn’t see either of those returns coming - roll on the finale!

This is going straight into Viz’s “Up the Arse Corner”.

totally impractical when you think about it for more than a second. Hartnell on fine form as well. 70 subsequently suspect disc jockeys out of 100.

War Machines sets up the template for pretty much all “present day threat” stories to follow - loses points for nudging Dodo offscreen and out of the series so ignominiously, but gains some for the pair of swingers that were Ben and Polly. The Machines themselves are a great design, albeit (1/2)
