Just got it, but I wanted to mention it’s taken me all day. IGG’s homepage loads just fine, but your page in particular hangs. I had to keep trying during breaks at work to let it load. Now it’s bedtime & it worked.

Postlude is part of an interstitial generation. They were born after the current era’s Renaissance & won’t live to become an Inspired Master at the end of the century.

It’s not just the MC that’s enby, by the way. Their entire species has one gender & can both lay & fertilize eggs. It’s not a spicy story, though there are a few moments of mild romance.
It’s been an interesting challenge to solely use genderless terms, but I wanted to really push the envelope.

I don’t want to pull punches. I’m not writing stories where the villains win, but that doesn’t mean it’s the “good” ending.
Evil doesn’t triumph at the end of Life’s Uncertain Voyage, but small spoiler: it’s not a happy ending. The “right decisions” can be made & still be sad.
