Sincere question for @ejacobslaw.com @akivamcohen.bsky.social @kenwhite.bsky.social et al.: It seems there's another release or admitted mistake every day or two. Can these folks get compensation? Can a class be certified? Is there no accountability for the reckless agency heads doing this?

Catching up after spending the day at Oracle (Giants win, yay). As a contrarian/eeyore type, all I can say is that this won't be nearly as much fun when they reconcile, and instead of make-up sex, they decide to steal another billion dollars or just destroy three more federal agencies.

Of everything that's happened to our country since January (or since 2016) this might be the most depressing and most horrifying one-sentence description. So far. No rules, no history, no consensus, and no constraints by Congress, courts, the media, the voters, conscience, or truth. It is tyranny.

Willie Brown Middle School is a San Francisco 6-8 in the Bayview District. For the entire ‘24-‘25 school year, I have been driving the 44 O’Shaughnessy bus that stops there right after school gets out. That trip has been the busiest and most challenging part of my working day.
