Every bold and loud queer with a side shave, piercings, tattoos, a battle jacket, clashing clothes, a tail or whatever is a beacon pointing to a better and more vibrant life.

So hey, to my transfeminine siblings out there: Hone your ability to listen to your instincts and your gut. A lot of us have had it trained out of us with some degree of violence. But you deserve relationships where you speak up when things don't feel right and are heard.

Like I don't feel like it's a big deal doing something simple for the benefit of everyone around me. I'm not smug or judgemental about it, I just feel really uneasy about potentially being the reason someone ends up disabled or dead and it's not a huge deal to me to always mask indoors in public.

Literally had this conversation in the past few weeks, and, like, I genuinely get the feeling that it makes people uncomfortable because it reminds them that they just don't care enough to make the effort.

Just hands down great horror with extremely well written queer/ neurodivergent casts. I knew Tingle was a good writer, but I was not anticipating just how good he'd be at writing something more serious in tone.

I like to indicate that there's heavy quotes around "friends" whenever I talk about those people, but, lord am I grateful for the people who have shown me what good relationships feel like, and I'm so much different now having been given the space and acceptance of the people I surround myself with.

Was just talking with @durtyburr.bsky.social about this last night, about how, often, people don't recognized how fucked up relationships they've had were until they end up in a healthy one. (Personally, in regards to my childhood friends which did not respect my opinions or consent)

Oh god, it's so fucking freeing realizing that I'm not bad at living, the systems we live under just aren't interesting in adapting to our needs. Like putting the blame where it genuinely belongs helped me let go of so much self loathing.
