I've always loved these pages. Both the opportunity to see Emma Frost drawn in a completely normal way (non sexual, a little goofy even) and the "oh God yes normal things" reaction to the shopping invitation (i think that's this interaction...)

That's cool. I do like Betty Gilpin.

Ah, that explains why i haven't really heard of it (I'm just not super into westerns so it wouldn't have been on my radar). Are you enjoying it?

I'm probably gonna check out WoT at some point. Not sure what American primeval is.

Severance finale was wild. The Substance was SO scary. I'm so glad Dennis Quaid isn't real.

Between the Substance, Severance and Mickey 17, we are seeing a wealth of stories about personal and bodily autonomy. Who is a person, who deserves a life, what constitutes living! What do you do if there's some other bitch who is also you but you wanna straight up kill them?
Big questions.

I assumed it was some sort of flight simulator, like they have at Disneyworld. This room moves up and down and shakes you, makes you feel like you're on airplane.

To be fair that's a good question.

It's also about division, privilege, power, and the rise of massive tech empires as cults. Its about what happens without oversight and regulation.

It's about dehumanization, personal autonomy, corporate greed and worker exploitation. Who is a person and what rights people have, the idea of delegating suffering to someone else in order to ease it for yourself.

How behind? Did you see Chikari Bardo? I really liked that one. Didn't LOVE the one after it but it was still very good and revealed a lot. Really liked this new one. Need next week now.

Does your brain work or do you have get permission from the worms before you can form a coherent thought?

Yeah, I can't possibly imagine why an influential political figure doing the literal Nazi salute would be traumatic for Jews to see over and over and over again.
Shelley, you're an antisemite. Fix your shit.

The fuck is this antisemetic bullshit? Fuck off with your Nazi shit.

Freaking depressing how many times we see that proven true over and over and over again.

Like, there are many times when it can be good to look at a person's history and past behaviour when they're being charged with a crime. If this is their first offence and is otherwise unlike them, we should consider that!
... trying to overthrow the government is not one of those times 🤦♂️

Both sets get a savoury bake this season, but the self taught bakers had a bunch of clues to throw them off. There were apples and pears in their kitchen, half thought it was a fruit pie they had to make!
For the others, there were ONLY savoury ingredients, it was obviously a savoury pie.

I wish it was more of a straightforward home invasion vs babysitter movie but it was alright
