By limiting the powers of local Government, you limit its ability to deliver for the people and therefore make it less viable.

I currently work for a local authority trust and we struggle to fill vacancies despite a huge number of interviews.
The problem?
The wage isn't enough for the hours and responsibilities being asked of people and retainment is also an issue.
