He wrote this in the gang’s treehouse just before his mum called him in for his bath.

I’m sorry to say he’s a British American. We both own the weird little elf.

We’re in this together then 🤣. The good news is I know exactly where his station is, so if we need to go to him I can get us there!

I think it’s really complex but our schools and colleges do not lack aspiration overall. Lots are highly innovative in their practice, links with industry etc. However, poverty and lower attainment go hand in hand. We need less poverty & more good industries. Both need strategy & investment.

Or ‘who ref? Me? Moi? Surely not!’ He’s eternally surprised by consequences. 😂

Other news reports suggesting they’re concerned re Farage using the optics for retaliation but it will apply to all parties and all foreign donations. It needs doing - and quickly, otherwise we are for sale.

Is Newcastle pitching to join Scotland - and quietly creating a border?! At least on some days we’ve had 4 lanes open on the new A1. Small blessings.

She really is Mandy. I don’t underestimate the huge journey of healing she has ahead of her but I wish her courage and peace. As for the prevalence of perversion and moral bankruptcy in the male population, our eyes have been truly opened.

Fantastic, fantastic venue. Must get another night booked soon!

To be fair that’s probably the best place to be if you’re about to ingest that for lunch 🤢

Particularly weird given he’d have learned how to calculate the curvature of the Earth in order to do his job 🤣

I can’t imagine the economic argument around this but would be interested to see it. It’s not usual to fund business to consumer entities because of a lack of economic impact.

Yep. Watching your little boy (that went to bed at half time) wake and see this that you printed out for them!

As a Lancastrian and NE girl for the last 30yrs I kind of have to for my job 😂 but we can definitely agree that we’re on a roll and it’s absolutely fantastic!!!! Looking forward to short haul travel to Teesside for the next FA cup match 🤣

This is getting a bit embarrassing. It’s like arguments about Liverpool still technically being part of Lancashire. Tees Valley (a Metro area) exists and functions without any relation to Yorkshire as did Teesside. It has more relation to & collaboration with other NE areas.

Yes try that.

You’re welcome! And try a denim needle (or the highest number needle you have). A new one so it’s sharp. If some of the fabric layers will be fully encased then trim them so they’re inside the seam, not under the needle, if that makes sense. Hard to tell from the photo if they will.

Do you have something that looks like this in your machine accessory box? It’s a hump jumper! Have a google - you’ll find videos of how to use it to help over chunky seams. Use a thick needle too. Hard to tell from photos if you could grade (trim down) any layers without fraying/visible raw edges

Gotta say I’m no fan of charisma. I mean look around the world and see where charisma got us 😂. I’m a boring old fan of competence and decency. And currently, brummie accents!

Agree entirely. I loved him but what’s come out since makes me think he wasn’t a positive people manager. Szmods seemed to like him but I guess it’s easy to keep your record goalscorer full of compliments. He seemed to demotivate lots of players. But we have JE now. Yaaay!!

I LOVE his whole Rovers family, doing it together mantra. You hear the players using it. He clearly saw that they were desperate to be built up after JDT. It’s exactly that - wholesome. Much love for JE - he’s phenomenal.

Was going to say the same. Even my young son thinks it’s brilliant and frankly it’s a miracle if he wipes his nose, agrees to cough medicine etc. but he asks for Sterimar.

Exactly right. The other bonus is that if you’re adding cuffs etc you can do all that before attaching to the body. First pin at the underarm seam & notches, and then start easing, pinning along the seam line rather than across it. It will fit.
comment in response to
post
I love this - never tire of hearing it.
comment in response to

You’re so welcome! The sleeve will sit better too because the seam will be circular rather than leading along the arm and down. If that makes sense. Think about the stitch line of the body and sleeve joining and you’ll smash it!!
comment in response to
post
There’s give in the body as it’s off grain in that area so you should be able to ease it in. Another option is to run and ease stitch on the sleeve head and use that to ease in the sleeve but they normally go in without it. Hope that helps!
comment in response to
post
Are you sewing it in flat? Try making up the sleeve, joining the shoulder and side seams and then joining. Don’t ease below the notches. Pin at the shoulder seam and then ease in. Think about the stitch line matching, not the outer edges because they won’t. 1/2

Nice!!!! I Pfaff when I’m sewing and when I’m overlocking too. Excellent exchange!
