Obsessive book reader. Dog lover. I'll never remember your name but I'll name every one of the dogs you've owned. In order. With their full history. Just here for animals, books & no politics/arguing. Thanks 😊

Certainly is. She was our best friend. Even though I was 54 & my sister 62 & mum had been poorly for a long time, we still expected her to bounce back like she'd done so many times before. The realisation you're now orphans, even at our ages was devastating.

I truly don't understand the reasons behind this. Some of the best care I received in hospital was by so called 'non English' people. They were absolutely superb and lovely.

I preferred Meatloaf and Queen plus Adam and the Ants (the songs pre fame) so I was a bit odd 😜

It's a shame you're not allowed to give them away but I can understand why not.

I was told a few years ago, you had to be either Team Duran or Team Spandau. I stated I didn't like either and blimey, you'd have thought I was starting WW3 😜

Every soldier, sailor or airman, whatever nationality, who fought, died or survived in these two wars were heroes. As were the civilian defenders. This man has no right, morality or bravery to change things. Every post he makes shows his pathetic ignorance and imbecility.

Ah. I understand. As I'm in a different country, I couldn't help but I hope she gets a forever home soon.

I did two lines of washing and hung them out in the sunshine and ironed it all when it dried. Satisfaction overload πŸ˜€

Scottish Power told me that in my old home. They said it was because the meters there were so old they were dangerous! Bull. I just told them absolutely not as I was moving house anyway and to hassle the new owners. This house had a smart meter already. Can't see a difference to be honest.

Snap. Never bothered me before but now I hate it and I hate myself for resenting it.

I finished The Queen and The Countess last night. Another fantastic read. I love how you take real events, people and especially those strong women who never had a voice and write the dialogue of what could have been spoken. Fascinating.
