I like this image. Quite beautiful in a “I’ve lived many lives kind of way” Like in a past life you were a woman so you’re revealing your softer side

Those kind of cop shows made violence more acceptable. There’s a fine line. The tussle shows normalized police brutality. It was always there (not saying they created it) The domino effect.

I’ll look into it. Every cop show has a particular message and try’s to reflect the times. Race, drugs, socioeconomics, corruption, politics, relationships. There’s a dominant theme to most shows.

Different energy and issues. Cop show from the inside out.🤣

Lived in foster care in 70’s recession era NYC, so I had to find the bright spots within the all that grimness & urban blight. Made me learn to laugh in spite of my surroundings.

Like this one too. Do you use chalk pastels? You seem to get a chalky surface.

Did you notice there wasn’t a lot of tussling like most cop shows? It was all abt the mental & the psychological camouflaged in a wrinkled rain coat.

Are your Sundays drier now? (droughts?) 🤣 I know your TV watching options have expand. There is always something interesting to explore even frm the dreary, wet old days😁

It doesn’t have to be a color that you use often, sometimes when you’re working your intuition/gut selects the color for you Just a nice contrast.

The show was a trad cop/ detective show, but they were also trying to address social issues (racial issues by making it abt class) of how ppl are misjudged and by how wealth and privilege has corrupted society

I like that mind set a lot . Used to walk around with a few glue sticks, cardboard packaging from items that come boxed, markers, magazine scraps that I pulled, xacto pen, scissors & clipboard. I collaged during hospital visits when you’re asked to leave the room bc they’re cleaning the patient

I hope you don’t feel offended that I looked up the corn, but I was reacting to a situation that my friend experienced. He came as a guest worker to Canada. There were farms with corn, cabbage etc. which he thought were for humans. He roasted the corn and broke his teeth bc the corn was too hard🤣

I looked up your type of corn and it’s called field corn which is animal feed. Sweet corn is for humans. You can harvest and dry for next winter.

Hahahahaha Thought you had a National Geographic story of how “thoughtful” your crows were. Some ppl get gifted shiny objects from their crows🤣🤣
comment in response to

Oh, I thought that the crows brought you the gift of corn bc you credited the crows🤣🤣 Like for Thanksgiving?Aren’t they ornamental corn cobs? I’ laughing bc my brother has get rich quick schemes of selling corn stalks. Or are they popcorn corn cobs?

GM Amanda there’s a 50/50 chance the corn will be edible & a 50/50 chance the corn will be the type for animal feed. I hope it’s ppl food🤣🤣

I live near an Italian bakery in what was once a 100% Italian neighborhood. It’s 2 bakeries in 1 bc ppl relocated to the burbs. I never enter the place unless it’s for a holiday treat for a party. You will gain an extra inch when you walk in the door🤪

Really lovely gown. It’s funny how an evening gown could end up reimagined as a shower curtain. The ivory organdy (polyester), appliqués flowers (fake satin poly)and leaves. This was a whole bathroom ensemble back in the day. Used to live near a home decor type store & it was in the window🤣🤣🤣

Have you ever drawn on a large drawing paper folded into thumbnail sizes and did 20+ drawings in a day as an exercise to loosen your creativity up? Use a new material, subject etc?🤣🤣

If you never want to be taunted by goodies, taunting have a Tbs of kimchi sauerkraut. Will turn you off eating. I’m forcing myself to eat this kimchi sauerkraut combo to counteract antibiotics. I like kimchi & sauerkraut separately but this particular company leaves me gagging 🤣🤣

Scott, to focus on Musk is a mistake. He’s the poster boy for what’s wrong with society. Problem is, many don’t walk around with a chainsaw, but they are just as dangerous. They operate in the shadows where no one knows what’s going on. Musk vomits in public.

Keep hearing abt the disparity between what’s paid by a bus driver vs a billionaire. We need a national list of names and what they paid in taxes so that there are real numbers and not speculation. We need a leak🤣
