Crows are so loyal and will always look out for their friends. Just ask the poor Deliveroo driver my crowbros attacked for entering our garden 🫣

Haggis is absolutely yum. We used to have a burrito place that put haggis into burritos and it weirdly worked!

This is the joy of being a coolish climate island. A lot of stuff has to be grown elsewhere and shipped. Agree the plastic is BS. The seafood is outstanding tho’ and the restaurants are decent but pricey. As well as Scottish, the Indian, Polish, Greek, Italian, and Spanish ones are amazing.

I mean, those numbers are out there. It’s easy to check. Or it has been. Now are the few remaining guardrails are being dismantled and we’ll be right back to tainted milk baby deaths like the “good ole days”. There’s some great American food but you’re taking a higher risk eating it than over here.

American living in Scotland for the last 14 years. Even food in Scotland is better than American food along several metrics: It’s safer. It’s cheaper. It’s less processed. It tastes better. I’ve eaten in 12 EU countries and they were all safer and tasted better than US food.

Compared to other countries or compared to some point in the past when there were no rules at all? Because we are headed back there. Fast.
