he's paid a lot by agents and clubs to put players statuses out so that clubs ran by idiots go out and buy them

one of the alternate crests they used for the consultation document a couple of years ago was the lamp post on parker's piece here - reality checkpoint. that was superb.

oh yeah. West Ham's brazilian midfielder has played ALL season while under investigation. again. What do the FA do?
comment in response to post
that tweet cost Pedro's agent precisely €1000. that's his rate for releasing agent leaks

the problem isn't the lack of activity. the problem is the proliferation of journalists making transfer links up out of thin air. the fans are waiting for news and the only thing the club has done is release a video on a player who will sit behind John Ruddy and never make the subs bench regularly

Meanwhile there's areas of the country that haven't had even 1% of this money spent on them yet London always gets more. Time for a revolution

So much so that most forces now actively ignore the footage.....

loved Maxi for what he did. that chapter is closed.

Chris, I get that there's nothing to talk about. what does Shola Ameobi actually do at the club? what are the plans for the women's team - will they have to move when Red Bull buy the Falcons?

these AI slop transfer websites that keep appearing that use former arsenal fan tv staff and their spurs counterparts are hilarious.

can't find the article where they discuss if the driver was prosecuted. going to assume he's been given a slap on the wrist and told to driver faster at the vulnerable

can guarantee he's a taxi driver

I'm not downplaying it. i'm saying it could have been better. it might just be me, but we're too emotional as a fanbase at times. harking back to brilliant times is fine, but we should never stop striving for better. if that means wanting better facilities, stadium, players etc. then that's me.
comment in response to post
yeah, but standing still isn't going to make us better. we can't rely on our rivals being badly ran or having poor recruitment withy no strategy forever. there are places in the squad that need upgrading. this could have been done before now. there's nothing wrong with wanting us to get better.

my opinions are well known regarding the way the club is ran. hindsight is a wonderful thing. also, our fanbase is overly emotional about players that could and should have been moved on a lot earlier. my opinion at least.

there's an argument IMO that the squad we had was better than the league position showed. Steve Bruce is a fucking awful coach who gets by on bullshit in pressers and knowing that the people who employ him are as lazy and ignorant as he is. Howe does deserve a lot of credit for dragging us forward
comment in response to post
See, I agree that it probably was easier for the old MD. But disagree that Howe has to have overall control. A DoF should be the one who is above the head coach. DoF's have to make long term decisions, a head coach makes short term decisions because they could be out in months/weeks

to stress. i do know of a local mackem who drinks in a pub near here (the Sir Isaac Newton pub). he's a bit of an odd one though. shouts at the tv in the pub when nufc games are on

7.5k per home game. it's not a football town though. not really

he'll fit in well when our amazing loans department sends him to west allotment celtic for the season
comment in response to post
But to suggest the Park is the life and soul of the city when its effectively a hangout of druggies and a alcoholic most of the time these days is bullshit, and I am sure any plans will include rejuvenation of the area that will make it 10 times better then what it is currently #nufc

wouldn't surprise me if Reach plc were using shitty AI to come up with headlines

tbf it's ALL of the NE journos. made-up transfer rumours (edwards, hope, the chron, bailey), articles on why Howe likes to buy prem players (Waugh), articles on why newcastle want to sign more keepers (caulkin). it just never ends. all because NUFC aren't buying anyone
comment in response to post
oh yes.
comment in response to post
that's the thing that annoys. as a club we get players injured on international duty and there never seems to be an acknowledgement from the national setups that they are culpable
comment in response to post
shame he won't include MP profiteering from Covid funds.....
comment in response to post
Edwards knows less than me about what transfers are taking place.
comment in response to post
that's even worse. that said, £100m for gordon could be reinvested. problem is that there aren't many players who can do what he does. now £100m for Harvey Barnes..............yes
comment in response to post
It's the Chron. i doubt that they know anything. tbh, it's the same with all of the local journos. not one of them has a single source at the club so they just regurgitate the same names over and over.
comment in response to post
true. but i've always wondered why certain staff are still there. nobody can honestly tell me what Shola Ameobi does at the club - given our loans record i'd love to know...
comment in response to post
lol. that's not what I asked. why is it okay for say an increasingly unstable USA with an insane president and idealogically captured government for example to have nukes and not another country? surely it's everyone has them or nobody does?
comment in response to post
genuine question. why is it that western leaders think we should be worried more about Iran having nuclear weapons than say..........israel or the US or the UK?
comment in response to post
I figure his diet is going to do more damage....

one of the london arsenal fans at the athletic wrote the same story. can tell he's the next of the "we will try to invent a transfer out of nufc as much as possible" players. even funnier is the london journo name - the ultimate arsenal journo - Art De Roche.
