I think there will be a difference between Jews over ca. 45/50 and Jews under ca. 45/50 in terms of openness to Mamdani. Will also depend on their degree of political literacy. We'll see.

I don't think that suspicion is unreasonable, necessarily, given that some non- or anti-Zionists are antisemitic, and antisemitic violence is on the rise throughout the US, including in NYC. It's just that Mamdani doesn't seem to be an antisemite and, given the times we live in, it's him or Cuomo.

I realize we got distracted and didn't answer. I don't know if I'd say that "Zionist Jews are leaning heavily toward Cuomo," but I would say that Cuomo and his allies have been successful at stoking the suspicion some Zionist Jews (esp Boomers & Gen. X) have of a non-Zionist mayoral candidate.

Someone who works at FIRE, @aricohn.com, was kind enough to argue with me about why I am wrong about FIRE's conservative bent. He didn't convince me but I found his willingness to engage refreshing.
