This day is about reparation of the huge harms which were caused to the indigenous people of this country. This does not take away from other injustices. Maybe you could read a bit more about Sorry Day.

I recognise the resilience of the amazing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
I am a guest on land stolen from the Dharawal and Gandangarra people. This was & always will be Aboriginal land.

My dad travels around doing outreach astronomy in outback Australia and tries to find out the diffferent Seven Sisters stories from any local indigenous folk he meets. Here is a photo he took of Taurus, the Pleiades aka the Seven Sisters, Subaru, and M45 in January.
