Police seem focused elsewhere and rarely motivated to protect us. Social norms are gone. Everyone’s in their own bubble, sealed off and desensitized. It didn’t used to feel this hostile just getting your kid to school. But now the school run feels like a battle.

Love this! I put journals or diaries in ours on occasion and those fly off the shelves too!

In less than a month, we’ve been able to fill 5 LFLs in military housing communities with over 150 book donations! #sandiego #littlefreelibrary #military

The pedestrian may be blind, deaf, semi-conscious etc A motorist must do his best to avoid hitting a pedestrian, no matter what the pedestrian does. He must also do his best to avoid hitting another vehicle, no matter what the driver of the other vehicle does

Branson MO is a really great example of the country/red neck entertainment culture. People from all over the Midwest flock there every year for their vacations.

I was inspired to reach out to a company to advise of illegal parking issues in my neighborhood bc of your posts! I searched out the CEOs email, not the generic help email. Not only did she reply, but advised they were going to revisit these areas in training to ensure drivers understanding!

@vetvoicefoundation.bsky.social what advice do you have for active duty voting assistance officers in regard to the SAVE act? Is their info/a campaign they can share to get the word out? Avenues for OCONUS fams? Hosting voting registration booths?

Lived in SD for close to 4 years now, 1 car family of 5. Walk a mile each way daily to/from school, appts, stores. Loved it at first! Completely dread walking every day now because of drivers and their blase attitudes when it comes to running me and my kids over. They just shrug.
