He'd have to get to deported to a country that has no extradition agreement with the United States.

She's up for re-election in 2026. Like many Republicans soon to be facing the end of their term, they do not seem all that worried about saying these kinds of things to their constituents. It makes you wonder where they're getting this new-found confidence in election outcomes, right?

Meanwhile, the head of HHS, RFK, Jr., is enjoying swim breaks in sewage-filled streams around DC. He's deciding the future of health in this country. It's crazy!

The lasting damage has already been done.

She's not the only Republican who has made similar remarks. I'm baffled that they're emboldened enough to say it out loud. It's almost like they know for certain they won't lose the 2026 and 2028 elections. Maybe the rumors of hacked voting machines are true.

For those who don’t understand the phrase “appears to be” in the article attributed to Democratic Senators, there has been no investigation by the DOJ. Until that happens, Democrats don’t know, from a legal standpoint, whether crimes have been committed. They suspect it is true — and it likely is.

So now the First Amendment no longer applies?

I'm not a practicing Christian. But Trump fits the bill when it comes to the antichrist. My limited understanding is that those who worship the antichrist — men like Mike Johnson — can't be Christians. That's because the bible says Christians couldn't be tempted by Satan to worship the antichrist.

Perhaps now we'll see if Republicans in Congress are willing to act without using Trump as cover. Obviously, those in the House seem completely unconcerned about the electoral consequences in 2026. There's an election-related mystery there. We'll see about those Republicans in the Senate.

In the United States, we only hold people responsible if they have a net worth less than a billion or so dollars

Republicans want to eliminate all social safety nets while maintaining huge tax breaks for the 4%. It's the simple.

Trump and Republicans in Congress behave as if there will be no negative consequences for their re-election bids. Trump can't run again, but members of Congress can. So, either they're very stupid or they know something we don't. I'm becoming more concerned about election integrity.

Hundreds of thousands of Americans will die from COVID under the new Trump administration. Count on it.

My limited understanding of Christianity is that Satan cannot deceive true Christians. There is no doubt that Trump fits the description of the Antichrist. That means there are far fewer true Christians in the United States than we think.

Regarding the stock market, Trump seems to be using his constantly changing stance on tariffs to manipulate the stock market. We shouldn't be surprised, but not too long ago, he would have been impeached for such illegal behavior.

There goes another $3.1 million in taxpayer funds that could have fed over 5,000 hungry people.

You're wrong to think I see value in companies settling instead of fighting back. I understand why some of them are doing it, and it's all about economics. Also, Trump is breaking the law but he's mastered our court system. We should both try not to assume the worst about each other's comments.

Obviously, the courts are funded by taxpayer money.
Taxes only pay for Trump's defense. You understand that, right? We don't pay for CBS, ABC, Harvard, etc.
If the Senate passes Trump's "One Big Beautiful Bill" to include the hidden court provisions, those injunctions will be worthless.

You're trying to plant false flags. My responses to your comments were NOT about whether Trump is breaking the law — he is! But corporations and places like Harvard are stuck paying massive legal fees just to defend themselves. Sometimes, it's just cheaper to settle.

I was responding to your implication that "We the People" are helping pay legal fees for these corporations and universities. Unless I misunderstood your intent, nothing could be further from the truth.
We know what he's doing is illegal. Harvard hasn't won yet. It's far from over.

There's no light between the elected Republican members of Congress and Donald J. Trump. Many of them are also engaged in illegal, corrupt practices. Therefore, there will be no opposition to Trump's overwhelming corruption.

When the next COVID-19 pandemic is well in progress starting next fall, we won't get any statistics on deaths because they're not compiling the data anymore. We'll know something's up when hospitals are once again swamped and temporary refrigerated trailers are parked outside as morgues.

They want to block it because it doesn't make deep enough cuts to Medicaid and SNAP. They don't want to touch the huge tax breaks for billionaires and millionaires.

Other American presidents would be proud that 6,800 international students value an American university for their college education.

I must have missed all the massive GoFundMes and other fund drives meant to help pay legal fees for authors and journalists who stand up to Trump. ABC, CBS, and others would have liked knowing about them, too. Good luck.

I don't mean this flippantly, but who is going to pay the millions in court costs? That's part of a corporation's calculus when it comes to standing up to Trump in this final term. Is it going to be you or me? Of course not. Nowadays, standing on principles could put a business out of business.

The problem is journalists and authors are afraid to write anything negative about Trump because he has mastered our legal system. And if Congress passes his "One Big Beautiful Bill," his mastery of the courts will be complete.

Obviously, this bill has no chance of being enacted into law. However, it would serve to limit the number of terms for members of Congress. The problem now is that many are serving in Congress to make their fortunes.

Nothing can be done to solve the problems we face. That's because partisan politics and government structure are not the problem. It's partisan animosity. Simply put, regardless of political affiliation, we don't like each other.
