I just got back from 36 hours in Ukraine with my brother Scott. Wanted to share a story from while we were there. At a hospital, we talked with a wounded Ukrainian soldier. I asked him what he thought about the recent change in US policy. His response in English was, “What the fuck.”

No, the meeting did not go badly for Ukraine. It exposed in the most undeniable, unequivocal way possible the pro-Putin commitments of the president and vice president. That was information Americans and allies needed to have clear before them.

None of us can be sure what will “work.” You try multiple things and find your way in. Read some histories of the Civil Rights Movement by those who participated. They were never “sure” of what would work. Some campaigns fizzled out. But persistence, creativity, determination, and focus were key.

INSANE. These men, who refused to identify themselves, forcibly removed this citizen from her seat at a town meeting, placed her face down in the aisle and appeared to zip tie her hands, all while some man on the stage droned on as though nothing was happening...and some attendees cheered. 🤯

Rep Kevin Hern—scared to say anything against Trump. The obvious—if Zelenskyy were a dictator, Trump would love him like he loves Putin. Glad to see folks in Oklahoma calling him out. Even small town halls matter right now. Don’t let them off the hook. Keep calling, emailing, and confronting them.
