#vegetablegardening 🌱 Today, I trimmed the worst of the worm damaged foliage off my tomatoes, & put net bags around the fruit. This is an effective, organic method to stop most pests. Last year, garden lizards were eating my tomatoes, & I discovered the bags. I only have 6 plants, so it's doable.

We have the same problem, so I added a cup of powdered egg shells to each 5 Gal. Tomato pot. I powdered the shells in my food processor. Keeping my fingers crossed!

My bet is Cabbage Loopers, aka, inch-worms. Look closely for small green worms. We get Cabbage Loopers in our area, & I use BT on them, which is organic. The only other option is using tightly secured garden netting. The worm eggs are laid on the plants by a moth. www.amazon.com/Monterey-Thu...
