Unfortunately, making a parade mandatory is not an unlawful order…

Yes there is. When you sign up, you sign up to do whatever your supervisor tells you to as long as it is lawful. I was involuntary signed up to do medical testing-refusal was not an option. I would try to refuse, but it may not be an option.

We’ve been forbidden from talking about politics at work, but this is not just “politics-is-poor-social-conversation” times. This is our democracy and human lives we are talking about! People have to speak up and feel comfortable talking about uncomfortable things in a constructive way.

Yes, my Colorado punks! I have been revisiting all my favorite punk tracks these last few months. The vibes are perfect for overtaking an oligarchy. Operation Ivy, Dead Kennedys, The Clash, Mission of Burma✊

I was listening to a healthcare webinar today from 2022 about oxygen sensors and dark skin tones and how there needs to be more research and that the FDA had instituted DEI initiatives to require more testing on various skin colors. It’s not just jobs that will be affected.

My MAGA coworker think Trump is right and Ukraine should give into Trump’s demands-that that would save the lives of his people.
I challenged her to think about how she would feel if the US was in the same position. We would never give in! She said it’s just not the same🤯😤

I want to agree with that, but Republicans say the same thing when we try to change landmarks back to their indigenous names: “What a waste of taxpayer dollars. Mt. KKK was a fine name. It speaks to our culture.”

Scooters are free to those who receive SNAP benefits. It has become their sole form of transportation. I have seen people literally break their necks on them and get back on as soon as they are out of the hospital only to tumble again bc people need to get to work. I won’t get on one w/o a helmet

They’re probably having measles parties so kids can be exposed and “get it over with”.

I quit FB when TikTok was accosted by Trump. I saved all my photos and gave a weeks notice to people to send me their info if they wanted to keep in touch. Haven’t looked back. It’s quite peaceful and I love sticking it to Zuck, even if it’s a small win. Replaced with Duolingo. Hasta nunca FB!

We need our Democratic leaders to quit Twitter. And companies that rely on our businesses-quit Twitter.

One of my patients this week went off about my coworker, who is trans. The pt said “they are just trying to shove all this trans stuff down our throats”. I said, really? Who is trying to turn you trans? What difference does it make to you what pronouns they prefer? Crickets. All hot air, no brains.

I am a veteran who was a witness to sexual assault and a major military sex scandal at Aberdeen Proving Grounds in the 90’s. Women in the military will not be safe under the leadership of Hegseth and the Clown in Chief.

It will never get through to these people until they feel the burn from this administration. They lack empathy and critical thinking skills. Until their lifestyle is affected, we have no hope of reversing this without a bloody war, sadly.

I saw this at the Denver protest on Wednesday. It even cites Rage Against the Machine at the bottom, very cool. There were some really creative signs that day.

What’s even more strange is the American people who have not lived a life of privilege find them more relatable than average, qualified individuals. It’s really baffling.

*I* went to the rally in my state, I have emailed and called several times. And I have been working overtime taking care of sick people bc that is MY job. People are looking to them for guidance and the response is not matching the level of instensity of the last few weeks’ events, Shanna.

Ok, but I would like to hear SOMETHING from representatives to their constituents about what their next steps are and what they think will help the cause. I feel
like only a handful of Democrats are speaking out about what’s happening.
