Looking for a break in the Sci-Fi series I’m currently reading. Does anyone have a nice palate cleanser book? Something light and fun? πŸ“šπŸ’™ #BookSky #BookRec

Sometimes the very best way to learn more about writing is to read, read, read and not just in your own genre. #writing #reading #books #writingcommunity #writesky #booksky

Love a good duology. The Celestial Kingdom books by Sue Lynn Tan are lots of fun and beautifully written. In a world full of trilogies and 5-7 part series, what are your favorite duologies? πŸ“šπŸ’™πŸŒΆοΈ #BookSky #CelestialKingdom

Is it perfect? No. Is it perfect to me? Absolutely. Fun fact, 2004’s Troy is one of the rare instances where Sean Bean doesn’t die. πŸ“½οΈ #film #movies

A lot came to mind, but blazing through The Spiderwick Chronicles as a kid and spending way too long in my backyard looking for signs of fairies is top of the list. πŸ’™πŸ“š #WritingCommunity #Writers

I love cases when sci-fi published over fifty years ago can still remain so relevant to our society today. Le Guin’s study of androgyny in Left Hand of Darkness felt so progressive when I first read it that I couldn’t believe it was published in 1969 What other examples are out there? πŸ“šπŸ’™ #BookSky

Well, that’s it! My ranking of the main Bridgerton novels. We haven’t touched on the happy ever after prologues or the other novels in the series. If you have any recommendations for other romance novels then I’m all ears. This was my first taste, but I loved it!πŸ“šπŸ’™ #BookSky #JuliaQuinn #Bridgerton

#1. When He Was Wicked Damn. This book was the spicier than its predecessors and I think marked a turning point for the series IMO. Francesca being a widow opened a lot of doors for Quinn to put her and Michael in lurid and scandalous situations. πŸ“šπŸ’™ #BookSky #JuliaQuinn #Bridgerton 1/4

#2. Romancing Mister Bridgerton It was tough to decide whether this was #1 or #2. Finding out what happens in this book was the reason I began the series. I wasn’t disappointed. In fact, I liked it far more than the show. πŸ“šπŸ’™ #BookSky #JuliaQuinn #Bridgerton 1/3

#3. It’s In His Kiss. In a perfect world this book was #1. I loved Hyacinth and Gareth. I loved the mystery/suspense sub-genre that I found myself suddenly reading. I loved it all. Quinn masterfully transfers Hyacinth from little sister to main character πŸ“šπŸ’™ #BookSky #JuliaQuinn #Bridgerton 1/2

#4. On the Way to the Wedding Gregory Bridgerton is a child for a good chunk of the series and it’s finally his turn to have the spotlight I was somewhat excited. This book was enjoyable and has one of the weirdest endings in the series. Lucinda is delightful #BookSky #JuliaQuinn #Bridgerton 1/2

#5. The Viscount Who Loved Me Let’s be honest, it didn’t matter how well Antony was written in this book, it was going to be tough to live up to Johnny Bailey. Kate and Antony’s dynamic in the novel is that wonderful enemies to lovers trope done to a tee. πŸ“šπŸ’™ #BookSky #JuliaQuinn #Bridgerton 1/2

#6. The Duke and I I loved the dynamic between Simon and Daphne and overall ended up enjoying it more than its show counterpart. This book is the first in the Bridgerton series and it’s evident that Julia Quinn’s abilities as a writer only grew with each one. πŸ“šπŸ’™ #BookSky #JuliaQuinn #Bridgerton
