People in all fields fucking hate journals and science publishing (and rightfully so), everyone I ever met in academia freely shared their work when asked directly.
Just go for it and ask, you might just make their day. Getting asked about your work is worth 10 citations, ego-boost wise.

In der erweiterten Lore ist ihre Expendability auch ein Nebeneffekt von Palpatines Direktive, die imperiale Armee gleichzuschalten und von lokalen Rekruten die ihre Nachbarschaft verteidigen (Siehe S1 Ferrix) weg, hin zu standardisierten Einheiten mit Sturmtrupplern als Rückgrat zu gehen.

Anm. dazu: das sind keine Polizisten gewesen sondern (laut Uniform) imperiale Soldaten, also eingezogene Jungs frisch aus der Grundausbildung.

in Germany a lot of this was a reaction to the war years and the failed promises of German imperialism, but you see similar dynamics all over. Fascism's greatest supporters are mediocre people born in comfort who need someone to blame for the fact that they don't have more.
