I'm curious about what this looks like, is there any plans to release this or at the very least a blog post describing how it works? it sounds very cool!

and tbf most games don't even need those fancy pants shaders. and also making a small 3D engine is very doable for a small team too ( see celeste 64 by the celeste team, it was made in about two weeks from what i know )

it adds a lot to the whimsy of the world while also somehow making it more grounded? it kinda reminds me of ghibli's approach to worldbuilding where they just put in random pretty scenes here and there that don't really serve the story but make the world feel more alive.
the game looks so cool!

now i'm imagining pikat living in some sorta "amazing world of gumball" version of hong kong where it's normal to see people in different art styles walking around

I don't live in the US so it's easy for me to say this but yeah basically this. Tiny protests like the 24hr ( and also a 72hr one? ) like these won't make the people you're protesting against budge even a little bit. Your protests will have to be indefinite and continuous if you want them to work

hello, it is i, the fool. /j
making an engine from scratch has been pretty fun if a little tedious so far. the good thing is that i'm making my engine for a single game and then i plan on just taking it apart for my next game and so on.
that's what you seem to be talking about too i think?

well it's either that or it's the fact that fizzbuzz is a pretty standard program + you have raw strings in here so mapping this to a standard fizzbuzz implementation isn't too challenging

Okay but now you're legally obligated to develop and release this game this looks fire

The final branch of the if statement, the "Oi" means print(i). O is the print command i think.
Still, super impressive that you could figure this out! i cheated by simply watching JJ design the language on discord lol

okay but what about the lovely nostalgic tactile feel of arcade buttons and sticks?! surely you could just add hooks to the side for the controllers?

the "because it's funny" principle should always take priority when designing games >:D
