afaik ignoring a game is tracked for developer to see but it's way less relevant compared to a wishlist. I'm literally only doing this to not see this shit on my timeline.
there are already tens of thousands of games to look through, genai just makes my pastime easier.

as someone who regularly goes through the Discover feed, I only spend seconds looking at a game at a time. there's too many games out there to give everyone the benefit of the doubt over genai usage.

as an aside, I've taken the habit of just ignoring every single game on Steam that has even a whiff of genai imagery in it. idc if you used it only for the store thumbnail, it's lazy. I would literally prefer if it was just the game title in white comic sans over black.

also in case you didn’t know: you don’t have to buy albums to listen to them.
but you can! and you should, as the payment goes directly to the band which is a way bigger show of monetary support than streaming revenue ever is.

my spouse teaches master’s degree students and they do return LLM based essays, sadly. the official stance iirc is that is OK but the student needs to be able to describe their intent with their own words.
it is very despiriting.
