Wait, that’s all in-the-box?? Also, you’re making me reconsider Amplitube; I had trouble getting a sound I liked, but definitely sounds like they’re in there. (Currently using a Katana mk2 which also doesn’t quite hit; I think the problem may be the guitarist. 😢)

Does not sound like a $100 guitar, for sure! What are you running it through?

Mixtape and Dosa Divas just shot to the top of my list after seeing the trailers. And shorter-term (like, in about a week!) Date Everything looks like a lot of fun.

Oh my. You were not kidding. This ep went nowhere I was expecting and I’m thrilled.

Delightful. I was about to say “it’s been way too long since I’ve had tasty metal” but then realized it’s been less than a month. (In my defense, the last week has lasted about three months…)

Hard to vote against FFXIV. One of my favorite worlds to inhabit.

I have heard about this thing called “friends” before and the concept sounds interesting… 😀 (Kidding, but most of my friend group does not game in the same way I do.)

Is this good WTF, bad WTF, or “directed by David Lynch” WTF? (I haven’t seen this week’s episode yet.)

It wasn’t until my late 20’s when I started learning the song and was thinking about playing in piano bars for money that it clicked.

I remember thinking this was such a dick move; like, you’re not going to pay him, you’re going to insult him by giving him literal bread? (And why is everybody carrying bread in this universe?) My brain tried to give it all these subtle, overcomplicated layers of meaning.

It’s looking so good though! Maybe “solstice motivator” instead of “solstice deadline”? 😀

Day 12: Most Annoying Character.
This is the kind of question I usually don’t have an answer for - I’d rather focus on positives - but here my brain immediately went “Can I think of an annoying charTEDDIE OH GOD TEDDIE”.

It showed. Seeing you whip up the crowd for trans liberation in your intros, then rocking out as hard as anyone during the sets; your love and your energy set the tone, and it was beautiful to witness.

IMO, very yes. Lots of replayability, great writing, great characters. Pretty sure that when I first got it I did three consecutive playthroughs, and that’s not a usual thing. (Maybe one of three games that’s gotten me to do that.)

Day 11: Comfort Game.
I first played Time Pilot more than 40 years ago, and it is still my favorite way to destress when I really need to empty my head. If I had the space and money for a cabinet I’d own one, but emulation suits this classic just fine.

Day 10: Underrated Game.
I get all the flaws. I get all the criticisms. But Max’s internal journey, and the beautiful character art, and the performances, and just getting to spend more time with Max…it’s worth the hiccups.
