The UK, Aus, NZ, Canada and Norway decision to sanction Israel's finance minister and national security minister is a welcome step. But it is not remotely sufficient. This horror is happening in full view. Without consequences, it would not only continue - it would escalate further. 2/2

1. Some of us write instructions for a living. 2. Some things can't be sold without instructions. Pesky regulations. 3. Some of us laugh at our own jobs.

These people are ghouls. Our only weapon is to speak of what their wickedness means - but Wes Streeting and Louis Appleby sought to halt even that. But we won't be silent. Links: www.bbc.com/news/article... and www.thetimes.com/article/0c1e....

I have felt for a while that Clive Lewis is in the wrong party. He'd be welcome to join us! join.greenparty.org.uk

Oh, and point three: previous interpretations of the Equality Act were not “lies”, they were very clearly following legislative intent, which would have been explained to the Supreme Corrupt had they not refused to hear any evidence that would threaten the verdict they wanted.

And second, how can the fact that we asked for a right that trans folk in Ireland have had for 10 years without any problems be justification for removing rights that people here with GRCs have had for 20 years without any problems?

I'd love the UK to rejoin the EU. But for it to happen we are going to need bold political leadership that's prepared to stare down the avalanche of right-wing garbage that reacts to the tiniest moves towards Europe with deranged cries of "Brexit betrayal".

And it's punishment. If the aim of the policy was to reduce fertility - and quite why in an ageing society you'd want to do that isn't clear - it has failed. The impacts have been negligible. So the price is paid by all kids in low income three child plus families www.lse.ac.uk/News/Latest-...

For too many people "working and putting a wage on the table" just isn't enough! Rents and prices continue to rise, and minimum wage doesn't keep up. A Labour government should be doing something about that.

Regardless of any fake guidance from transphobic organisations like Sex Matters and the EHRC, the following still applies: bsky.app/profile/tacc...

When I saw your post I was worried that your call for an "alliance" might include Labour. Having read your article I'm very pleased it doesn't. LDs and Greens would make strange bedfellows, but that may be necessary to save this country.
