Damn it. As the recipient of a cadaver kidney transplant for the last 25 years, this hits so hard.
Because a family could see thru their grief and pain, I’ve lived over the last quarter century & had an amazing daughter. I’ve been able to work, love, share my life with my family and friends.

I lost my 22 year old son in 2017 to an overdose. He was a total body organ donor and saved 7 lives. I’ve formed relationships with many of the recipients. I am an organ donation educator volunteer now. I show this video. Something tragic becomes collateral beauty. It is an honor, unrivaled. 💙💚
